Affectionately nicknamed “Erma,” by her little sister, Emma Sage is an artist working in as many mediums as she can get her hands on: from digital t-shirt design to linocut printmaking and oil painting, she likes to imbue her pieces with levity, mischief, and curiosity.

She is currently based in Washington, D.C., where she also works as a children’s bookseller. In her spare time, she enjoys birdwatching, reading, and trying to invent new blockbuster idioms.
